How far is the Retreat from Taupo?
Lakeshore is only a short 10 min drive from the centre of town. Close enough to all of the amenities of town but far enough to get you away from the crowds.
Do we need a car in Taupo?
It isn’t essential but recommended. Most of Taupo’s attractions are a short drive from town and while Uber is on its way your transportation choices are limited currently.
How can I get from Auckland International Airport to Taupo?
Taupo is a pleasant 3 and half hour drive from Auckland international airport. We recommend you hire a car and drive to Taupo.
Are there outdoor activities in Taupo?
Taupo offers a huge plethora of outdoor adventures from Bungy jumping to mountain biking and skiing.
